Grace for Refugees Inc. began with a simple but profound belief: that a welcoming community can change a life. As a ministry of Lyndhurst Baptist Church, we saw the need to assist newcomers arriving in the Indianapolis area who were seeking safety and a fresh start. We are committed to walking alongside refugees and immigrants, providing more than just aid we offer partnership, advocacy, and a supportive community.

Grace for Refugees Inc. offers a holistic suite of services designed to address the diverse needs of refugees and immigrants in Indianapolis. English as a Second Language (ESL) Program
Our ESL program is designed for individuals aged 19 and older, focusing on practical language skills crucial for daily life and integration. We equip students with the skills necessary to improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking, empowering them to communicate effectively in their new environment, pursue educational opportunities, and gain meaningful employment. Our curriculum also incorporates computer literacy, recognizing its vital role in today’s world.
